The Palos Health and Fitness Center offers one-on-one instruction that incorporates goal setting and health education into challenging workouts specifically designed for each individual's needs. Being located within a medically based facility, our mission is to accomodate all ages and fitness levels, allowing everyone to experience the benefits of fitness and health education.

Who needs a personal trainer? Any individual who. . .

  • Is currently participating in a program that is not providing results and would like to learn new exercise techniques.
  • Has specific fitness goals or needs assistance in setting goals towards healthy lifestyle changes.
  • Needs motivation and encouragement along the path to reaching their goals.
  • Wants to learn how to make the most of their time and effort spent in the fitness center.

Trainer Qualifications

PHFC has one of the area's best personal training programs because of the level of training and professionalism of the staff. Our personal trainers are highly qualified with credentials ranging from university degrees to nationally accredited certifications. Our personal trainers have been educated in anatomy, exercise physiology and biomechanics. Each trainer offers individual expertise in other specializations which will cater an individual's specific needs.

How to get started

  1. Complete and return a personal training request form which is available at the Member Services or Fitness desk.
  2. You will be contacted within 48 hours to set up a free consultation with your trainer to discuss your goals and expectations.
  3. Purchase your personal training package at the Member Services Desk.
  4. Schedule your personal training appointments with your trainer and you're ready to go!
