Harmony Qigong

It’s happening here! The first Harmony Qigong class ever offered east of Denver, CO. Developed by Steven Ridley, these soft, flowing movements when practiced daily, will relax and refresh you. You’ll strengthen your immune system, improve your balance and coordination, increase your energy level, and in no time at all become a happier, healthier you.

PHFC Harmony Qigong instructor Bill Nielsen has been teaching Tai Chi for over 15 years and is confident that this form of exercise is one of the most powerful, user friendly systems of total health for body, mind and spirit that you’ll ever experience. Years in development, now yours to enjoy!

Belly Dance Classes

Belly dance, as a form of recreation and exercise, is an enjoyable way to tone the body and lift the spirit. As a low impact dance form, belly dance is suitable for all ages and body types and is fun too! This class will focus on isolated, toned movements, proper posture, and interpretation and expression of the music. Instructor Denise Szymczyk (Magda) comes to us with over 15 years of experience in the mind body field and for the past five years has been instructing belly dance classes in the Chicagoland area.

Belly dancing works hundreds of muscles, burns calories and helps de-stress. It’s soft for the joints and yet is very energetic and very aerobic.
